HAPPY EASTER!!!

Easter Morning was so fun with Nixon this year! This is his HAPPY face!!
He likes to play "timber" with Jon on the love sac. My boys being boys!!

I always hide Jon's basket for Easter... this year I hid Nixon's too. I put it on top of the dog food bucket, because if I know one thing it's that Nixon will go feed the dogs at least twice a day:)

He saw the ball that Grandma and Grandpa Pickett sent and was SO excited!

He liked the candy and the confetti too!

Nana sent us a fun Easter package.. I didn't hide it..sorry!

Nixon got more CARS! Good thing too, because somehow the dogs eat them?? How strange!

We colored eggs after breakfast and I laughed the whole time because Nixon was so funny about the eggs in the cups.

He almost drank the water...YUCK!

After naps we took Nixon to the park. Mark and Karen were in Utah for Easter so we didn't get together with any family for the holiday. It made it very relaxing!!

After the park we went home and had a little egg hunt in our front yard. I was a little surprised that Nixon took the basket and picked up the eggs... it was adorable!!

The Time Has Come.....

TO ANNOUNCE....
I had Jon open a present with this sign in it to announce that we are having another baby!! YEAH!! We announced to Jon's family after his birthday dinner on Sunday!!

I am due October 26th and the baby is doing great. We had an ultrasound on Tuesday and I was so surprised to see our baby have little arms, hands, legs and feet. The fingers and toes are still developing but WOW! Only 10 weeks and so much has happened!

Visitor's from BOISE!

Jon's brother and his family came up to Spokane from Boise for Spring Break this last week. We had a lot of fun playing all together. The kids played a lot in the backyard at Grammy's house! Nixon was able to climb the ladder by himself and go down the slide.. it scared me a little to watch.

When we got there one day Nixon walked from the car and then sat on the front stair.... what a goof ball. He didn't want to go inside!

Ryan and Jon played dodge ball with Kathleen, Brandon and Katie on the tramp.

Although when they got hit they didn't get off.....

We went to the park together and had some fun on the slides!

Nixon LOVES slides!! It's so fun to watch him go down all by himself.

Jon's GOLDEN Birthday!!

This year was Jon's GOLDEN birthday year. He turned 29 ON the 29th day of March. We had a big dinner on Sunday with the whole family at Karen's house to celebrate. We had Thanksgiving dinner in March and it was YUUUUMMMMMYYYY! We think we will make it a tradition for Jon's birthday.
We had so many people over for dinner that we ate in shifts, we had the kids eat dinner first. Ryan and Angela and their kids were in town for Spring Break! It was a blast!

Then on Monday we had crepe's with strawberries and blueberries for breakfast and opened presents!

Here is Jon opening presents after breakfast. He got a gift card from my Dad and Linda to Famous Footwear and a gift card from my Mom to Kohl's !

My mom wouldn't send a package without including some presents for Nixon in there too. He got some CARS!

My mom made a candy bar book for Jon... it was really funny!

She had copied a Junior High picture out of a yearbook of one of her students that went to school with Jon. It was hilarious!!


I got him a NEW blue t-shirt... he loves this t-shirt but the one he has is starting to look white because I have washed it so much!

For lunch with went to Olive Garden as a family! One of Jon's favorite places to eat!
It was really stormy that day and Jon let Nixon and I off at the door. It was SO windy the door to the truck almost came off. Jon went and parked and met us at the table. When he got there this is what he looked like... it went from super windy to super windy and rainy. He even had an umbrella but it didn't help much, he was SOAKED!

Later that day we went on a walk as a family!!

Nixon played outside... "BOO" he says when he plays behind this fence.

He always goes to the garage door and says "cars" because he wants to play in the car, preferably the jimmy AND don't forget the keys because he will ask you where they are.
