Trip to Utah in April

Way back in April...yes I said April 2011!!
We took a trip to Utah for Spring Break! We got stuck for an extra WEEK...but I remember it being a lot of fun to spend A LOT of time with family and friends!
The girls came over right away to see their baby cousin...then she was still only 6 months old!

For it being SPRING break it was a bit cold in Utah. Nixon however didn't care and spend a lot of time in Nana's backyard as usual.

Nixon found some HUGS rocks in Nana's yard and somehow got them to the river and threw them over the fence. This boy has got some muscles and determination.

Nana added a sun room to the back of the house since we were here last. It is so nice and cozy!!

And of course we had a "hair cutting party"

Nixon LOVES Chloe and they play so well together. Chloe just tells Nixon what to do and he loves it!

Did I mention this was my SPRING break trip, oh yeah and it snowed big time!

Mac, Beau, Chloe and Nixon made a snowman in the back yard. Chloe had worn flip flops and borrowed Nixon's boots ...and they fit her!!

We were over at Tim and Casey's and Molly their dog just hung out in between Nana's legs, I thought it was so funny!

Papa Wally took the boys down and let them ride the big digger. I think Nixon was happy for days because of this ride. He talked about it non stop and still will talk about it if we see a big digger on the street working.

We had a grand time in Utah and when we got home Nixon went straight to his train set and played with his toys he missed and he got to play all by himself...just the way he likes it!
