Our Daily Walks...

Almost everyday Nixon and I would take a walk down the road we lived on. It was a steep little hill actually so going down and then back up was enough..for both of us:)
I wanted to remember our little walks and everything Nixon did...EVERY TIME we went on a walk!
We would always have to stop at the neighbors house and check out the flowers... where we would smell them, NOT pick them!
Then we would cross the street because Nixon would say "Wader, Wader"
We could always HEAR the water before we got there and Nixon would say "Hear it" and put his hand to his ear..it is adorable!

He would always want to pick up the rocks in the little stream of water and throw them into the BIG pond part of the water feature. I tried to discourage this of course but somehow a few rocks always made it from one place to another!!

There was a lot of just sitting and watching the water fall too!! Instant entertainment!

Across the street there was another water feature but this one you couldn't throw rocks into so it wasn't AS BIG of a hit with Nixon but we still liked it. Nixon would always TRY to throw some rocks in...and some would sadly make it threw their barricade...OOPS!

He would always walk up to this house, I wasn't sure why. He would walk up the grass and then climb down the stairs.

This house also... he would actually sometimes try the door knob...luckily it was never open:)
He liked the little porch on this house I think!

Then the STEPS!! There was two sets of steps on the way down the hill and I would lift him up so he could walk down them!!

Up and down he would go....

Then the "BOAT"... there was always this boat parked in the driveway and of course it was always a hit. We would walk around it sometimes but just to touch it was fun too!

Some days we would sit on the curb and pick up pebbles or see the bugs!!

And of course one more stop at the "Wader" before we would make it back home!

I loved our daily walks together at this house!! We will miss it!

Fun days at the park!

BACK IN MAY....
I am going to try and update the blog month by month, starting in May I know it has already been that long since I really updated this blog with any good pics of what's up in our lives. We have been busy as you will see.
So here are some pic's of Jon and Nixon reading books at night. We got rid of the bottle and now have reading time and singing time before bed. Nixon loves it and so do we! Jon is the best at doing all the voices and sounds if there is any animals.

One weekend my mom came up to help pack us up because YES we did move again. While my mom was here we went to knitting group and Jon took Nixon to Manito Park near by.
Nixon of course had a blast with his Papa and threw lots of rocks into the pond.

You can't feed the ducks anymore so rocks would have to do in the water this year.

Then he played in the sand. It's amazing how much sand can get into one little boy.

It was in his hair, his pants, his diaper, his shoes, socks.... I could have had a sandbox in the bath that night!

But how can you not let him play in it, he LOVED it!

After we took my mom to my FAVORITE burger joint ever... D'Lish!!

Nixon can eat his own hamburger there too, we are loyal customers!!

Nana and Nixon, we are heading to the airport.

Nixon loves his Nana!!

Video of Nixon throwing rocks into the pond!

Nixon has gotten really good at hitting a bat, of course how could he not when we go to at least one softball game a week with Jon. I am actually pretty surprised at how good he is for only being two years old. He is so observant when he watches Jon or baseball on TV. Although he does hit right handed... but holds the bat like a lefty???

I love how he says "thank you" when he gives Jon the ball.
Disregard our messy house, I was in the processes of moving:)

Golfing, golfing, golfing!!

We went golfing with Tanner to the Painted Hills 3 Par course
Tanner got some clubs from a Scout Auction and we went to try them out.

Jon did very well, as he has golfed a lot this year:)
Put, Put, Put.... sink!

Tanner on the 9th hole! I promise I was there too, but I took all the pictures. I haven't been golfing for at least a year so the 3 par was perfect for me, not too long, not too short...PERFECT!!

Jon went to the golf show and got a bunch of coupons to golf courses around Spokane and Idaho. So he got to golf some of the nicer courses for a cheap price.
This is the Circling Raven, which is one of the nicest courses in CDA.

Even had GPS in the carts... to tell you how far the pin was and everything. How nice would that be???

Beautiful weather on a beautiful golf course!!

This is at a tee box... and I wonder why I don't golf with the pro's?? That green looks like it is SO far away!!

I love how it is raised up above the fairway though, it's gorgeous!!

More of the pretty course!

The bridge to get to another tee box.

Good thing Jon took some pictures because for how much it USUALLY costs to golf there, he won't be going back anytime soon. Unless I get a par of really nice shoes in exchange:)

Shaving Nixon's head....

Back in May we noticed Nixon was sweating when he woke up from naps or when he was playing hard outside. His head would get all sweaty around his ears and back of his head. We decided to shave his hair off so that it would be cooler for him. What a great idea right??? Not so much actually... this is how it went down.

We took him out back and sat him in the chair.

Look at those long locks of hair, aren't they awesome!

Jon to the buzzer to his head and started shaving all those beautiful long locks right off.

Nixon didn't like the idea, it took us way longer than we wanted it to... and the longer it took the more Nixon started to cry.

After we got it all done, we gave him a sucker to make it all better.
Nixon's new do.... I am not so sure I like it.

It's about time....

Well we moved at the beginning of June and I haven't gotten my computer with all my pictures hooked up to the internet yet. SO.... that is why I haven't updated in a long time. BUT ... i realized I hadn't posted that we found out what we are having, how foolish of me.
SO, we are excited to announce that we are having a GIRL!!!

We are still on schedule for delivery on October 22 and I am feeling much better, I got over most of the nausea thank goodness and can now function a little better in the mornings:)
I will post ultrasound pic's when I get a chance!
